With 2.9 seconds left, Sabrina Ionescu was fouled and hit two free throws to give New York the lead. On the final possession, Caitlin Clark tried to get off a game-winning shot, but Liberty guard Natasha Cloud knocked the ball away. Clark and the Fever wanted a foul callā¦ but none came. The buzzer sounded, and the game was over.
