Last night, it all came down to this: the United States vs. Mexico in the Gold Cup final.
These two teams know each other well.
Theyāve played more than 70 times since their first match in 1934. And when a trophyās on the line? The pressure cranks up to 100.
Team USA was looking to bounce back after losing in the semis in 2023. Mexico was trying to win its second Gold Cup in a row.

Last night was the final competitive match theyāll play before next summerās World Cup.
And while this Gold Cup squad was packed with rising stars, one name was noticeably missing: Christian Pulisic.
Pulisic didnāt play in the Gold Cup to recover after a long season with his club team, AC Milan.
But when he's on the squad? Heās a difference-maker.
Nicknamed āCaptain America,ā Pulisic brings creativity, leadership, and elite scoring.

When we asked how to best mix sports with water, Jake had the answer:
