We’re gonna get back to our NFL season preview tomorrow with team #3… but a lot happened while we were gone!
So if any of these headlines make you wanna learn more, just click to watch!
Cam Little made the longest field goal in NFL history. Sort of. The Jaguars kicker nailed one from 70 yards in a preseason game on Saturday.
While it’s farther than the 66 yarder that set the NFL record a few years ago, it doesn’t really count since it was just a preseason game.
A’ja Wilson made WNBA history. Actually. 32 points and 20 rebounds last night.
The league’s first-ever 30/20 game in the Aces’ 94–86 win over the Sun.
Alyssa Thomas is also on a tear. A few days ago, she posted her third straight triple-double, the first streak like that in WNBA history.
(It ended last night… boo!)
Cal Raleigh keeps mashing. His MLB-leading 45th home run yesterday ties him for the second-most ever in a season by a catcher.
Oh, and the Mariners beat the Rays 6–3.
Cal’s chasing MLB history…
But Jen Pawol just made it.
Over the weekend, she became the first woman to umpire a regular-season MLB game.
That wasn’t the only baseball action over the weekend…
The Savannah Bananas took over Coors Field.
We’re still waiting on the full highlights, but here’s an early look.
Golf’s playoffs just started! (Yes, golf has playoffs.)
The top 70 players in the rankings teed it up at the St. Jude Championship, and Justin Rose won in a playoff. Final-round highlights below.
The top 50 now move on to next week’s tournament, which will narrow the field to the final 30.
