Thursday night, the Chicago Sky beat the Dallas Wings 97ā92 behind a career-high 23 points from rookie Kamilla Cardoso and a closing run that made the home crowd roar. But the loudest cheer came for someone else.

With a smooth layup in the third quarter, Vandersloot became the all-time leading scorer in Chicago Sky history.

Kelsey Plum is a two-time WNBA champion, but this season she made a big moveā¦ leaving Las Vegas to become the leader of a young Los Angeles Sparks team. And sheās on fire.
Sheās scoring more than ever, making big plays on both ends of the court, and setting an example with her work ethic. Even when teammates are out with injuries, Plum is willing the Sparks to stay competitive. Itās a huge test, but so far, sheās passing it with flying colors.

Starting this weekend, the WNBA tips off the Commissionerās Cupā¦ a special in-season tournament where certain games count double. They help decide both the playoff bracket in September and who gets to play for a bonus trophy in June.
Every teamās got five or six Cup games against rivals in their conferenceā¦ and the two best teams will meet in a one-game championship.
Think of it like a mini midseason showdownā¦ with bragging rights on the line.
