From NFL drama to WNBA playoffs to MLB chaos, Sunday had a little bit of everything.
Ready for three things?
1ļøā£ The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly š
It was a busy Sunday in the NFL!
The good?
Weāve got eight teams at 2ā0: the Bengals, Bills, Cardinals, Colts, Eagles, 49ers, Rams, and Packers. (Tonight, the Buccaneers join them if they beat the Texans. And the winner of Chargers vs. Raiders is in the 2ā0 club, too.)
The Eagles took down the Chiefs⦠beating them 20ā17 in a Super Bowl rematch.
Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts didnāt have the flashiest stats (just 101 passing yards). But he got it done again when it mattered against Patrick Mahomes.
And while the Bengals are feeling good about their record, things may not be good for long. Star QB Joe Burrow injured his toe and could be out for a while.
The bad?
Weāve got nine teams at 0ā2: the Bears, Browns, Chiefs, Dolphins, Giants, Jets, Panthers, Saints, and Titans. (The Texans join them if they lose tonight.)
The most painful Week 2 loss probably goes to the Giants, who lost to the Cowboys 40ā37.
How do you lose a game where your QB has 450 yards passing?!
By giving up a 64-yard field goal to send it to overtime and a 46-yard field goal in overtime. Yep, Cowboys kicker Brandon Aubrey became the first player in NFL history to make a game-tying kick at the end of the fourth quarter and a game-winning kick at the end of overtime.
The ugly?
Weāre giving it to the Broncos and the Dolphins.
First, Denver. The Colts lined up for a last-second, 60-yard field goal to win⦠and missed.
But wait! A flag. The Broncos were called for āleverage,ā an illegal push by a lineman trying to jump over the center. That penalty gave Indianapolis another shot, this time from 45 yards.
And this time? They drilled it. Broncos lost, in the most brutal way possible.
Then, Miamiās special teams turned into a roller coaster.
The Dolphins returned a punt 74 yards for a touchdown. But then, on the very next kickoff, the Dolphins gave it right back with New Englandās 90-yard return for a touchdown.
In a blink, the celebration flipped to heartbreak, and the Dolphins walked away with a loss.
Thatās the glory and heartbreak of the NFL.
Letās just hope we have even more drama to talk about tomorrow after Monday Night Football!

2ļøā£ Crossroads š
The NFL wasnāt the only game in town yesterday! Yep, the WNBA playoffs also started!
Eight teams. Three rounds. One champion.
Hereās what the bracket looks like:
Round 1 is a best-of-three series where the first team to win two games moves on. Itās going to fly by!
So who got off to a fast start in Game 1? Letās go in a big circle, starting in the top left of the bracket:
The Minnesota Lynx dominated Golden State 101ā72. Napheesa Collier dropped 20!
The Las Vegas Aces crushed Seattle 102ā77 behind Aāja Wilsonās 29 points.
The Atlanta Dream beat the Indiana Fever 80ā68. Must have been hard for Caitlin to watch from the benchā¦
The Phoenix Mercury and New York Liberty came down to the last few minutesā¦
š„ Hit play on these fourth-quarter highlights!
Good-news, bad-news situation for the Liberty. They got the win in overtime, but lost star Breanna Stewart to a knee injury.
Theyāve got a few days off before Game 2 on Wednesday, so fingers crossed! š¤
3ļøā£ Catch Me If You Can ā¾
Remember last Thursday when we checked on the race to the MLB playoffs?
These were the six first-place teams:
AL East: Toronto Blue Jays š
AL Central: Detroit Tigers šÆ
AL West: Houston Astros ā
NL East: Philadelphia Phillies š
NL Central: Milwaukee Brewers š»
NL West: Los Angeles Dodgers š¬
Whatās happened since?
Wellā¦
The Phillies š and Brewers š» clinched playoff spots.
No matter what happens in the last two weeks, theyāre in.

The Astros ā kept losing and dropped to second place in the AL West. The new leader in a race thatās going to come down to the last few games?
The Seattle Mariners š£, powered by catcher Cal Raleigh and his MLB-leading 54 home runs.

The Rockies šļø lost three of their four games since Thursday and now sit at 41 wins and 109 losses.
With just 12 games left, they need one more win to make sure they donāt have the most losses of any MLB team⦠ever.
Baseball is already wild this year⦠and the playoffs havenāt even started yet!
Three sports. One epic day.
And weāll be ready to watch the sequel tomorrow after Monday Night Football!
