Last night, two teams who had won their previous matches on penalty kicks played each other to see who would make the Gold Cup final.

Eek! The US got outshot 20–12 but still held on to win, 2–1.
On the other side of the bracket, Mexico beat Honduras 1–0. So it’s the US vs. Mexico in Sunday's final… one more match, winner takes all.
This is the 13th time the US has made it all the way to the Gold Cup final. They’ve won seven and lost five. And guess what? All those losses were to Mexico.

The Gold Cup’s got company!
Another international soccer tournament kicked off yesterday. This one’s in Europe… Switzerland, to be exact… and features 16 women’s national teams battling it out for pride.
Here’s what the experts are saying about Euro 2025:
🏆 Who’s Won Before?
Germany (8 times!), Norway (twice), Sweden, the Netherlands, and England (once each). Everyone else? Still dreaming of their first title.
🔢 How’s It Work?
The teams are split into groups of four. Each team plays the others in their group once. The top two from each group advance to the quarterfinals, and from there, it's win or go home until a champion is crowned!
🌟 Who’s the Best Player?
Experts say Spain’s Aitana Bonmatí… she’s won back-to-back Ballon d’Or awards (soccer’s highest honor). But she’s getting over being sick. Can she recover and lead Spain to their first-ever Euro win?
